It makes me feel really good to realize that somethings remain beautiful even in this difficult time. And also to be remembered that are things that stay the same... This is the case of these lovely pictures from a classmate of mine, taken from her garden in Connecticut (USA). Without miss she shares every year when they bloom in the beginning of Summer. She knows how much I love the Beautiful Rhododendrons!

Rhododendron is a genus of shrubs and small to (rarely) large trees, the smallest species. Most species have brightly coloured flowers which bloom from late Winter through to early Summer. Found mainly in Asia although, it is also widespread throughout the lowland and montane forests of the Pacific Northwest, California and the highlands of the Appalachian Mountains of North America. Some of the best known species are noted for their many clusters of large flowers. There are also alpine species with small flowers and small leaves. (L.W.A)
